One of the interesting side-effects of the Corona crisis is that it has sharpened my appreciation of the place I live. For more on this see my contribution to Leopard & Lime’s Corona Diaries. I think that I have discovered more about Neukölln – a borough in the south-east of Berlin – in the past two months than in the whole of the time that I have been here. As a kid I would often find myself exploring all the nooks and crannies, all the lost places, of the island I lived on. Right now, I have some of that same feeling.
