My most recent poetry project is a collection entitled “Logbook Poems – Songs of the Minch” which is the result of a week-long “Dark Ocean” residency, sailing from the Hebrides to Mallaig on the Scottish west coast in July 2023. The Dark Ocean residency was a collaboration between the Dark Mountain Project and Sail Britain.
This cycle of poems and photographs follows on from “Sailing with Alcuin“, which was the result of a similar voyage with Sail Britain’s Coastline Project.
The poems and photographs were on display at the Sail Britain Symposium in November 2019.
I will also be reading the poem “Shadows” at the upcoming Parataxe Symposium in Berlin on 10.11.2023.
